Well, I used to teach math, and, as I recall from long ago, 39 is "under 50" unless the "new math" has changed things.

Looigi is right. As I said earlier: "You left out "39." That's the Jack Benny category. I realize 39 is "under 50," but so is 49."

Oh, and one more thing, this emoticon here should have bugs in the teeth, because if you're flashing a grin like that on a bike, that's what you're gonna get.

Carry on.

But if it was a hard problem then the answer is "42".

People who don't understand 42 didn't ask the right question.

I was so hoping the bars would tend to be higher towards the 80's than the 50's!!!

We have one guy 79 who hasn't responded, and a couple more in their 70's I know about. Perhaps they will respond?

There's an Under 50 category and an 85+. So what could "other" possibly be?

I wish that I had noticed that before I voted.

There is ALWAYS someone who doesn't think any of the categories fits them. From hard experience, I always include an "other." Otherwise I get some sort of smart-alecky remark.

I am 54 but I figure that everyone in the 50+ forum is my friend, regardless. I think of all of us as one big family.

Hey, we can come up with smart-alecky remarks no matter how well planned out it is. Can I change my vote? I want to switch parties.

If he's a good dad he'll fill it up first and leave a $20 bill in the glove box.

That's funny; I couldn't wait to start posting in the 50+ forum...but I didn't dare before I actually turned 50! It was like a rite of passage, like reaching voting age, or being able to go into bars legally.

For those of us in the upper age brackets, is the next rite of passage entering that nursing home?
