Getting back to normal!!!

After 15 months of being unable to drive, my bride has finally returned to the roads.

She completed her driver retraining / physical therapy, her car has been upgraded to accomodate her physical challange, and she is out grociery shopping as I write this post. It will take some time before she is completely comfortable with her new driving skills but I'm confident that she'll be just fine. She learned how to handle the new equipment very quickly and passed the course for her addaptive equipment with only five one hour-lessons.

Now I have instituted a three step re-entry into my own state of normalcy.

Step 1...acquire first case of beer to be consumed since April 2010

Step 2...prepare said beer for consumption this evening

Step 3....well I really don't need to go into too much detail there. Suffice it to say that the first taste will be soooooooo nice.

Yeh, I opted not to drink at all until the bride could drive just to insure that there would be someone sober enough to drive if the need arose.

Doesn't look like enough nutrition in that fridge Lenny, where are the green vegetables, the fruit and you have only 4 bottles of beer?

There are better beers available from Canada than what you chose you know. But do enjoy them.

It looks like he has Canadian beer and not that watered down horse urine that passes for American beer, so that's worth half a case at least....
