Any Katy Trail riders here?
The Katy Trail is Missouri's longest rails-to-trails path and it stretches nearly all the way across the state east to west. It's well maintained and had a bed of small chat that is easy to ride on with any type of bike. It's very flat, there are no hills to speak of. I have been all the way to the east end in St. Charles but have not gone west further than about 10 miles west of Boonville.
Has anyone else here ever ridden the Katy? The scenery is gorgeous, particularly around the MO river at Rocheport. If you have ridden it, I wouldn't mind going with someone else someday. Bear in mind I am a very slow Clyde. Thanks for all responses.

I haven't ridden it yet, but I'm planning on riding it in September with a couple of friends. I've been wondering if it's all intact, since there's been so much flooding in that part of the world this year!

I rode the trail in 2009 and enjoyed it. Here's some pictures from the trip.

4 of us rode it in June. There was talk of flooding back then but it flooded up north and the people we met were safe after all. Here is a thread where we talked about it....
