A Request for Positive thoughts & prayers

On Tuesday evening during a fast, fun ride, c_gallagh crashed his bike and broke his collarbone.

He goes under the knife tomorrow to have a titanium plate & screws inserted to restore the proper form.

All good thoughts/vibes/prayers are welcome.

Oh, and the bike is just fine.

Sorry to hear about the crash and that he and the bike are OK.

Trust him though- Steel doesn't seem good enough so Ti. parts being fitted.

Ouch! I'm wishing Chris a rapid recovery, and here's what I think you should do to keep him in the game, Deb....you should take him N+1 shopping for a Ti bike to match his plate & screws. I recommend Moots.

I heard once that Ti is painfully expensive to get into! Hope everything works out well and best thoughts and prayers heading that way!

Hopefully a speedy recovery, but it should be since he is so fit . . . and fit humans recover lots more quickly.

Sorry you and Chris missed a wonderful Knoxville double! Again . . .

On the positive side, he should be easy to control for the next while, just threaten, note threated, to smack him on the injured shoulder and he should smarten up right smartly. Glad to hear both him and the bike came out of the incident reasonably okay, but you should ensure the bike is checked out for him by your LBS before he rides it again.
