Wise, regardless of the age.

I went to the Christmas Eve celebration at the Taos Pueblo for the first time this year. I'm guessing nothing much has changed there in several hundred years.

Here in Missouri we have a town named "Peculiar."

Most of the school districts have been consolidated and reorganized but at one time there must have been a Peculiar High School. I'd love to hear that school song. And football cheers - "We are Peculiar!"

Dear Forum,
For me its more about the giving than the receiving, I love to watch my Grandson play with his stuff, and I really love getting cycling clothes
and gift cards for my LBS, but hey thats me.
Hope everyone has a blessed year in 2012 watch those crazy crate drivers..:-).. Doug

My youngest Daughter and her husband decided to adopt a child on the Local Angel tree, that was their christmas gift to each other,
I was totally surprised by their choice, But then again her husband spent a couple years in IRaq and saw how the children suffered
thru the changes that were occuring there..

just stumbled across this and it may have been mentioned, but it got up to 50deg and fairly sunny here on christmas day. didn't see one kid riding on a new bike all day. i was a kid in the late 60's-early 70's and unless we got a good snow or heavy rain, there was a parade of kids on bikes they had just got riding up and down the street all christmas day.

Couldn't wait to get the bikes out and show them off . I saw no one on a bike all Christmas Day, one runner, my neighbor, and hardly anyone driving. No new Lexus's with bows on them, either.

I saw quite a few people on bikes Christmas day. Mostly adults but there were definately a number of kids trying out their new wheels.

Illinois has Bulldog Crossing, Goofy Ridge, Grumle Corner,
Magnet , Perks, Rust, Twin Culvert, and 3 Unionvilles .
Makes one not worry so much about Normal .

And Arkansas has Toad Suck. Normal is not a consideration.
