I just won...

a steel commuter bike from Nashbar. I was winner number 20 of their 20 days of giveaways. I am excited, never won anything before. I think I may use it as my winter bike as it already has fenders.

Bikes: Several bikes, Road, Mountain, Commute, etc.

Very good for you! Congratulations!

The bike looks like it would be very well suited for commuting!

I've never won anything either . . . maybe there is still hope! I don't order from Nashbar though, so maybe not . . .

i liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike it!

and boohoo, i never win anything. i s'pose it does help to enter!

congrats!

i do wish the spec list was more informative. weight isn't always the most important thing, but nice to have the info. i had a steel sears english racer back ought when, and i don't think it weighed as much as my Al framed 29 pounder. the er was one thin bike.

Nice. You're the second, maybe third, BF member I've seen win a bike.

No. It's Luke V's thread of glory! I had mine.

(However, my win is on the "Eye candy--show us your blue bike" thread.)

That looks a lot like my first bike I got when I was 11 (in 1962) - a 3 speed Raleigh. The configuration looks about the same. I loved that bike! It got me all over the place until it was stolen by some scoundrel when I left it unlocked behind the furnace room at my old junior high. I was such an idiot! I was too lazy to lock it that day, and after school I forgot I had ridden it and walked home. When I remembered and checked the next day it was gone.
