N + 1 Boomer Version tops 5,000!
The animated movie I made two years ago to help explain the N + 1 equation through the eyes of Boomers has passed the 5,000 views mark. The movie was my first attempt at movie making. Over past two years I think I have got a little better at movie making, but I've still got a long way to go before any "blockbusters" are produced.
I can only hope that the movie provided at least a nugget of helpful information to your quest for N+1.

I make the animated movies to invite my riding buddies out to ride. I like this one from a while ago:
https://www.xtranormal.com/watch/6332...rd-crit-invite
I have also used the movies to challenge and chide myself to accomplish something on the bike that I think impossible:
https://www.xtranormal.com/watch/8195...ng-the-rollers
and one to call out myself and buddies, https://www.xtranormal.com/watch/6428...fu-workout-421
I even made movies to get over this year's disaster of a Cyclocross season, which have some nasty words in them that embarrassed my wife
https://www.xtranormal.com/watch/1266...-cross-failure
and my attempt at the healing process after utter failure: https://www.xtranormal.com/watch/12706213/dfl-redemption
This all makes me wonder about a Bike Forums 50+ movie, hmm...., a lot of ideas come mind. I'll ponder the script the next time I'm on the rollers for 1.5 hrs with nothing else to do but watch the stupid TV shows my wife has on while she gets on, off, on, off the elliptical machine during our "together time".

Ha ha. Those are hilarious. The really funny thing is, that if you were using live actors, it would not be even a little bit entertaining.

I hate to burst your bubble, AJ, but about 1,874 of those views were from me making other people watch it. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I have watched it many times and laugh every time I do!

Those were very nice, AJ. I had a good chuckle with the first one as I just went through it with my wife two weeks ago when I told her I was getting a new road bike.

Those were OUTSTANDING!
I found myself LOLing, especially during the first one on N+1. Please make more! They are inspiring and may even make me HTFU.

Hi Allegheny Jet
In case you missed this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skFCozgPtr0
I really enjoyed N +1 Boomer and your other movies
I have six bikes and go into a conflict about making a decision on witch on to ride. So I usually take the "Summer Car" ( Good subject for a movie ) or things to do on the trainer

I think the Jetster is on to something. There are folks like me who could memorize chapter and verse of Joe Friel's bible, eat a gluten- free diet, track our power meters, faithfully do intervals and hill repeats, and HTFU and yet always finish DFL. If there were a "DFL Cycling" decal I'd put it on my bike with pride.

I think Katz and Spielberg are not losing any sleep but the videos are good. Think twice about doing one about this forum. I thought about that and rejected it. No good deed goes unpunished.
