Maiden Voyage

I've been thinking about where to take my new Masi on her maiden voyage when I finally get her in a few weeks. I hate having to put a brand new bike on the back of the car to bring home, but I don't really feel like starting out at the LBS out near SDSU.

So, I'm thinking a 19 miler around Mission Bay might be nice. I hope I can still do a 19 miler!

Just take it easy and I'm sure the 19 miles will go by very quickly on that new Masi!! Ah, Mission Bay, last time I was there was 1979, in the Navy Stationed at NAS North Island, Loved the place, ENJOY!

Of course! It's in August every year, starts at the County Admin Bldg.

That bike will be so easy to ride- you ought to double the distance and take in a slope aswell.

You may not be familiar with San Diego terrain. It's either flat or steep hills up and down between the flat places. Few slopes. I think Mission Bay is a cool place to start.
