Unofficial Pie Ride----

Suggested it earlier in the year and at Easter I try to get a neighbour- Friend- or anyone to come for a ride with me. The weather may not be ideal for a newcomer to get on a bike for a longish ride but I normally get someone to ride with this weekend.

So I am going for an Unofficial Pie ride this weekend and taking a new rider with me. Not certain who yet but I am certain I can talk some mug into a slice of Pie down the road a bit - especially if I am paying. Just won't tell them how far down the road.

My MIL is making her Key Lime Pie(s) for Easter lunch so a ride after sunrise mass will be in order. sounds like an excellent reason for a pie ride to me.

Well, my blood sugar just rose 50 points thinking about Key Lime Pie. Remember, no pictures means it didn't happen.

Made my pie ride this morning, and even though the pie is a mass-produced variety, I enjoyed it and would like to thank Stapfam for the challenge.

No pics for me but took a neighbours kids out for 5 miles up the MUP. Just rebuilt their BMX bikes and it was only to see if they could ride them and any fitting adjustments necessary. Boy are a 9 year old and a 12 year old fast.

Hopefully Pie ride tomorrow.

And don't know about you lot but this weekend is a 4 day Bank holiday. Friday and I was clearing the loft- Saturday dumping the stuff from the loft- today it rained this morning and Grandkids round for dinner And tomorrow looks like rain all day.

I am going to get wet again.
