Three different kinds of ouch tomorrow, I expect

Weekends here are Friday and Saturday

Yesterday (Friday) spouse and I waited for our regular pals for the 'not too tough' ride beginning at 6 am. Got a call about pillow comfort. So we went out together - met all the fast guys setting off, but declined the invitation. We were both very sluggish - spouse even checked that the brakes weren't rubbing. No, bikes were fine, we were the slugs. Anyway, about an hour, about 18 kms, and that'll do.

Today - spouse (artist) was out early to set up a show. I wasn't very impressed with yesterday so did 60 kms in about 2 hours 45. Getting warmish now! Back by about 8.30 am.

Had a little work to do. At 11 I decided to try a little trot. (Some of you might have read/commented on my wish to get back into running after an injury a couple of years ago). 5 kms, 30 minutes. Not too bad at all - I'm still shooting for the 4 minute kms I used to do. That was warmish too!

Spouse got back at about 4.30. We both had some computer work to do. At 5.00, went to play an hour's tennis - just pattacake, trying to be nice and score the maximum returns - but it's still moving and skipping! Warmish, too!

It was all lovely. I wonder if tomorrow will feel so!

Hope all of you had a fun and active weekend too

I'm staying in bed tomorrow after reading that lot--You have done enough exercise to cover me aswell.

I was planning on an organised 50 miler tomorrow but Looked at the weather forecast and No-Way. The drought is continueing and rain and 15MPH winds on a body not quite ready and I'll just do a gentle 20 miler to meet them coming in at 1pm--or 2 pm if the drought worsens. Save myself for next weekend and a 60 miler in "Better" weather.
