BF Auto Save feature .... anyone disliking it?

Is it just me or my browser (Safari), or are others having an issue with BF's new Auto Save feature? Every time it saves while I'm typing, character typed don't get displayed and I have to go back and retype them. I still can't use my injured arm, so typing left-handed and slower than normal is making it worst.

Moderators, is there any way of increasing the auto-save time setting or disabling this feature?

Never notice it myself. Chrome/Win7.

I may have to change my browser (Safari on Windows Server 08) on the PC since it does the same thing on my iPad 2.

Not a problem with it. I see it pop up, however, I’ve recently adopted that habit of composing responses in a word processing program and then cut and paste.

That is one of the reasons I like Safari. It checks your spelling as you type and also has an auto-correct feature that replaces the misspelled word, if turned on.

I remember when spell check worked, by chicking on the ABC check mark. Oh well.

Firefox checks spelling(including proper noun capitalization) as well.
