I won't even think of encouraging him to join me. I know how his mind works, too. You are right. I will challenge him more if I tell him I don't want him to join me. He just doesn't understand the importance of keeping joints moving, especially if you have arthritis but his biggest excuse is what bike riding would do to a certain part of his male anatomy. And, if I hear "my urologist told me...." again, I swear I will strangle every urologist I encounter for the rest of my working career..
