Denver, you set us up again. I was ready to pounce.
Here's another "petal" power that actually gets some miles put on it.

I kind of thought it was a thread on making decorative food items, like radish roses.....

Actually you did misspell it when you added the “ing” to the ending of Petal. Petaling is not a word.

It is nice art. I like the ones made with real bicycles the best.

Actually, it is a word. It has two meanings of which I'm familiar. The first is the term used for smoothing the edge of a cast (the older plaster ones) to keep them from doing damage to the patient's skin. The second is the name of a region in Malaysia.

Ok, Petaling is the spelling used for a city in Malaysia and it is used in a Medical dictionary. However, the word is not in Webster’s unabridged dictionary. I cannot find it in any on line dictionary. I still say it is not a word when used with plant life.

Almost got my blood stamen there for a second. Maybe we should be pollen people for their opinions on this post. That would get to the root of the problem.

Well, I guess it's not truly "unabridged."

I figured his use of "petaling" as word-play and not meant to be a "correct" spelling. It's not a spelling bee.

I agree and I am not really trying to criticize. I have posted a misspelled word more than once myself and I would not post at all if I didn’t have a spell checker (spell checker let words slip by too). Now I wish I had not even pointed out that it was not a word when used with vegetation.

I don't mean to alarm you but I've reported everyone on this thread to the FBI. Some of these puns must be illegal.
