For American randonneuring riders, one of the awards given is the Mondial award, recognizing completion of 40,000 kilometers of RUSA rides, which is the appoximate distance around the world.
They also have a "Galaxy Award", for those completing 100,000k of RUSA rides, so you might set that as your next goal.
