My 2nd Uni-Century!

What an INCREDIBLE ride I had Sunday! And I completed 100 miles in just 9 hours, 56 minutes, a new record for my age! (57) But in my quest to finish in under 10 hours, I took less breaks than usual, and paid for it with terrible leg cramps for the final 25 miles or so, but it was worth it! I filmed much of my ride via my gopro which was "holstered" under my touring handle so I could shoot footage while riding, and not have to stop and lose time.

Incredible, YES, but what is really great is your film! A very good documentary. Our hats (helmets) off to you.

I am so blown away. I rode a unicycle as a kid, and remember how much more work it was than riding a bike.

Great video, too. Thanks!

P.S. I never got the hang of the free-mount -- I wish I could have seen your video on that topic back when I was 12!

When I first saw your post about the time I thought 'big deal' but then I realized it was on a uni cycle. Wow you're awesome!

Great job, I've seen some of your other videos!!!

Impressive! I did a 15 mile uni ride last summer, and decided it was 5 miles too far. Considering I rode brevets up to 400 km as well as 326 miles in a 24 hour race last year on 2 wheels, 100 miles on a uni is amazing.

Wow! Incredible! All the superlatives seem so inadequate -- but there doesn't seem to be anything else to say. There is just no way that words can do this justice... Thanks for sharing this with us...

100 miles is amazing! I top out a 3 miles on the uni before my backside demands a break.

I wonder how a rear unplanned dismount would go on that?
