I'm glad these things didn't exist when I was in my 20s.

I figure all of you appreciate classic and vintage steel-frame bikes, since you (and I) are all classic and vintage. I'm looking to clear some garage space by giving away some bikes, high-end stuff, mostly from the 80's more or less, But I don't want to have to ship them. Are you anywhere near me (central New England) and are interested?

Well then I'm claiming 29 yrs. I too have too many bikes including a Guru Sidero (Italian for "of steel"). So, I don't really need a bike but I'm in Northeastern CT and if you let me know what you have I'll post it with my club.

Anybody involved with or knowledgeable about Kiwanis?
An acquaintance invited me to a meeting, they seem to do good volunteer work. I've got extra time, a charitable heart, and room for some new friends.
I have the perception that it's a little cultic and geriatric.

Limited experience but younger group than Lions, Shriners, VFW, etc.

The Kiwanis group I met a couple of times had an international project that did not stir my interest.

the Addiction thread in the Road forum is shutting down. We may see an uptick here if we work hard enough.

Nah, ..... Road Bike Forum posting in 50+ .... even if their age is right it won't happen.

Are you kidding? Who do you think does most of the posting now on the 50+, especially the posts about fitness, exercises, training, performance, etc.?

Next round is on me!

April Fools = No more next rounds on me. The tab is expensive (and embarrassing). [And my driving has been landing 'in-th-rough']

Almost everybody is pulling for Tiger, but he keeps effing up behind the wheel. I'd love to see him competitive again, even on the Champions tour. I tried to watch his indoor team event the other day. Yawn. Hope he gets it together before he hurts someone bedsides himself. If I were a billionaire, I might have a driver at the ready. No pun.

I think Tiger needs to get himself together before he plays in the Senior tour.

Lots of pro duffers have seen life's ups and downs and hang-overs, haha. Ask an earlier John Daly.
