This post is well timed as I've just sworn off buying my coffees here with the ridiculous increase in prices over the past few years. I'm a big fan of Pike's Place roast but $3 for a small (they call it a tall) coffee is steep. I'm told McDonalds makes a good cup of coffee so might try that.

They look similar, eh? That is the Long Valley in the Eastern Sierra in California. The river in the foreground is the Upper Owens River and the triangle shaped peak in the distance is Mount Morrison.

Nice. I was thinking it looked a bit like the Mission in Santa Barbara.

Devil’s Slide Trestle. There are actually 2 trestles. They feel like riding a 2x4 across a 1200 foot drop.
