Mrs RSbob and I did a 45 mile 3000’ ride around San Juan Island up in the Pacific North wet. Luckily it wasn’t raining, like the day before and the weather was perfect, mid 60s to low 70s with a light wind. If we were not climbing, we were descending, up and down for a good 70% of the ride which means its guaranteed, when you get too hot climbing, you will be cooling down shortly.

Puncture Vine sounds pretty bad, but does not connote Evil as well as Goathead does, imo.

This year's chore comes early because of a wet spring. Got a flat when I went for a ride today, after doing some weeding. It was from a goathead. I can't prove that my weeding was the cause, but it seems logical. Post hoc ergo propter hoc, right?

After waking me up before 5:00 am he likes to nap around 8:30.
