It was a fabulous "winter" day yesterday, up here north of the 49. This is a little clip from the ride yesterday, I spared everyone the heavy breathing while riding up the mountain. Our "winter" is one of the reasons we live here. It's about as close to California as we can get without immigrating.

Proof that Northern California is a horrible place to ride bikes. The scenery is crappy, the weather is horrible, the roads are boring and the traffic is a mess. You are better off in the snow.

From the return leg of today's commute. 25 mile round trip. Only a pale image of how amazing it actually looked. Gorgeous day. Around 60F on the ride in and around 70F going home. Rain returns tomorrow. :(

Did the Southern Inyo Double last weekend. What a great ride! Lots of good friends, good weather, and great scenery. I'll get around to a trip report soon, but until then, this kinda gives a hint of the vibe.
