This Kona Sutra is my primary commuter and all-around bike. Right now, however, I'm riding my old 2002 Norco Bigfoot (pre-fatbike version) which is my winter-beater.

Sweet frames!
One of my favorite things about building up a bike is rethinking the roles of each bike in my stable. Often a new build or a change to a current bike will start a wave of changes to several bikes, possibly leading to selling off some, acquiring more and changing others. And it never really ends.

Here are my bikes. We'll be adding two more in a week or so when our new fat bikes are finished being built up. That will make an even dozen. Hiding in here are a pair of Fisher Montare from 1983, two pugsleys, a Specialzied Roubaix and a Ruby, a carbon Superfly mtn bike, another mtn bike and a set of Salsa Fargo's.

I have an '81 SuperCalibre - love those early Fishers. Mine does duty as fendered gravel bike, mostly. Lots of lonely Forest Service roads in the Cascade foothills.

'Seattlites not necessarily opposed to global warming'... San Luis Obispo has a nice climate.

It's not that early - it's a mid 1980s frame, with index shifting Campy 9 speed running gear from the late 1990s.

I've narrowed it down to 1983 to 1987, based upon the being SL tubes not SLX, having a chrome fork with sloping crown, and the logos having the diagonal flourish pattern in addition to the name

After reviewing this thread, it looks like the question has evolved to showing the riders in your stable. So here are couple of more:

this will be the next new ride:

Some times I take the stoker out on this:

This one is finished (needs updated picture), almost but has been ridden:

This one is a clean up project but is sorta ridable:

That is one incredibly fast bike.

I can tell just by looking at it.

I'm 66 years old and got back into cycling at 62. Started with an e-bike, then I rebuilt a Trek 720. I was fortunate to be able to locate a Bike Friday folder in my exact size, used but in good shape. I've had it now about 6 months and I love it! Rides as good as my Trek so if I don't look down, I have no idea I am on shorter wheels. So nice I sold my Trek, in fact. I love this bike, it will be my last bike. When the knees go, I will add a motor. Here's a pic.

What's that front chainring size? Looks huge. Is it an optical illusion that the front tire looks smaller than the rear? Sweet looking bike, I must admit.

The front is a 53. Was standard on build. The bike has a derailleur hanger so I may make it a double eventually. Both tires are 406 marathon racers. Maybe the Nitto rack on the front changes the perception or the angle I shot the pic? I was incredibly lucky to find a gentleman selling his wife's custom bike in my precise size. A ton of Mother's mag polish, new seatpost, saddle, handlebars (more sweep) and the pedals and front rack from my old Trek finished it off. I'd love to find little hammered metal fenders for it (Hanjo doesn't do 20" wheels).

This is my first and only bike since 1978, a 1977 Raleigh Record. This was just after I fixed it up 4 years ago. It needs some more work now that I'm just getting into. I switched the seat a couple years ago.

Bought this one back in the fall, but really hadn't had a good opportunity to ride it. I played hookey from work yesterday afternoon, and did a couple of 10 mile runs, The first was into a pretty stiff wind with a slight but steady climb (350 ft) over the course of the route, at 21.7. I turned around and took advantage of the downslope and tailwind, averaging 24.7. Pretty good speed for me, but it's not as comfortable as my road bike!

You and the bike are in uncommon territory!

Pretty cool to have your one and only bike all this time and in such good shape. My oldest bike is about that age and there is not another like it in our area. They dont make them like this anymore.

2015 Specialized Sirrus Sport. First bike after getting back into riding at age 60. I'm calling it my beginner bike now. Didn't know if I was going to like distance riding so I bought one that I could use for casual riding. After 6 months and almost 1,000 miles I'm convinced I like riding and have been saving my pennies for a real road bike.
