24" punture proof tire?

My wife's Centurion Dave Scott Ironman Expert is constantly getting flats, put on a new Panasonic Panaracer Pasela 24x1 (25-520) still thorn flats tired of patching these tubes so ordered 2 new tubes that should be here next week and I'm going to try a Slime tube liner flat protector am i missing something? by the way on the back she has a armadillo tire that works great.

remove her front tire completely from the rim.

Turn it inside out.

check very closely for anything sharp poking through the tire.

check her rim for burrs.

check the rim tape that protects the tube from the spokes/nipples.

Do the tires flat in the same spot everytime??? inner edge or outter edge of tube???is the puncture a 2 hole scar like a snake bite??

Ive used mr/ tuffy tire liners in the past with some success.

If its goat head stickers you could probably use Rootboy's tire savers - They have significantly reduced my flats from goat head thorns...

A wheel chair can have 24" tires. just removed a pair with a foam rubber "tube" .. has a problem getting them off

installation would maybe be worse.

I have too when I 1st started riding but got a flat once when a goathead rolled up into the side.

I read once that they buckle up and cause a little friction that translates into rolling resistance. I don't think I noticed any back then but I stopped using them. They will save you a lot of flat repair on kids bikes for sure.

Thanks for all the input, did all the inspection of the tire and rim last night it all looks good have not seen any pinch flats with the 2 holes yet, I know the last flat was a thin wire puncture it took awhile to get that wire out of the tire going to see how the combination of new tubes and the liners work once the tubes come in, has anyone seen a hard case tire or a gatorskin tire in a 24" size?

I confused, a Centurion Dave Scott Ironman Expert with 24 inch tires? Do you mean 27?

It's a women's specific design 24" on the front and 700c on the rear they were popular in the 80's now only Terry makes them I think.

There just aren't many tires available in the 520 size. A tire liner is the only solution I can think of. Thin Skinz is another brand that used to be popular, but I don't know if they're made anymore. A word of warning about Mr Tuffies: make sure you round the end so that it doesn't cut the tube, *causing* a flat.

Thanks for all the advice I didn't wait for the new tubes and patched a old one after making sure it held air for over a day i installed it along with a slime flat protector which came with rounded ends so we will see how that works.

Schwalbe has a 23x520 Durano training tire with flat protection: https://www.schwalbetires.com/node/3238

"Durano is the right choice for high mileage purposes, because no other racing tire lasts longer. At the same time the Dual Compound offers great grip for training on wet winter roads. It has the proven RaceGuard protection belt".

Lets see couldn't get the wife out for several days and the patched tube went flat after 3 days so i installed one of the new tubes and went out with her 2 days in a row with no problems.
