Epitaphs:

1. There's always wind. There's always another hill.

2. Hi-viz colors. Helmet on. Flashing Tail light. Flashing Head light. Noon. Clear sky. Riding the fog line. Saw the oncoming car. Acknowledged the driver behind. Waved to indicate awareness. Driver behind was sure he could make the pass before the oncoming car...and was wrong.

3. It was the spoke that broke...the camel's back.

I had heard it before, but while making records of a local cemetery, I found one marker that said "I told you I was sick!"

And in another cemetery, I saw one that said the deceased had "Skydived Into Heaven". And I immediately remembered the cartoons, where when they hit the ground at high speed, it was always "the other place" that they wound up in!

Edit: That would be Sylvester and Tweety in "Satan's Waitin". Although I seem to recall Yosemite Sam having similar problems.

My epitaph will be "Folgers". My plan is to be cremated, have my ashes put in a coffee can, and have the can put on a kitchen shelf for the unsuspecting.

I want to be cremated and have the ashes put in an etch-a-sketch so the grandkids can still play with grandpa.

I'll be cremated or body given for research/learning, but if I had a headstone, maybe "Zombie in progress."

A coworker was whining again about his crappy marriage and suggested we cremate him, but don't let his wife have the urn. He didn't think it was funny when I suggested letting her put a lipstick smilie on it, commenting he could have "earned a smile." No sense of humor.

I didn't know whether to laugh or get creeped out....

I personally have this thing about keeping someone's ashes around - WHY********** My sister has her dead husband in a drawer. She's been remarried and moved on. Just don't know why his ashes aren't used as fertilizer somewhere but that's just me.

I plan to be cremated and no one better keep my ashes in a drawer or I will come back to haunt them! That said, I want no marker; no gravestone... I don't want to leave my "footprint" on this good earth...

I believe that there is an outfit that uses your ashes in fireworks, if so that's what I want. It would be great to got out with a big bang and flash putting a smile on people faces.
