Video of the whatever.

I would have posted this in the video thread but I couldn't find it. Anyway, my latest cinematic triumph, my search for Goatman.

You know if I wasn't so darn lazy, I'd load up my bike and wander down that way and ride. I could also work in a stop or two at Skyline Chili.

Hitchcock would be proud. Nice little stretch of MUP there.

It's interesting how the music sets the mood. This video had the feeling of a 1970s horror/thriller. All you needed was a pair of creepy twins in antiquated dresses standing beside the road with blank stares on their faces.

You could put the same video to Katrina and the Waves' Walking on Sunshine and it would have been a whole different experience.

I just downloaded music from iTunes that, as background, would make a video about ethnic cleansing seem upbeat. Later today I'm going to repost the video with the new music, just for grins.

Gotta love the score. Tense. As if someone's gonna jump out from behind a tree and grab you at any minute.

This is the same video set to a bit more uplifting music.

On a lighter note, this has become a Venus flytrap of noobs. Folks who have never ridden bikes go flying down this path (it is fun to do, after all) and realize when it's too late that they have to go back up.i's a 100 foot climb at about 4.5%, no Alpe d'Huez but a bit more than folks who are totally out of shape can handle.
