50 Plus Jersey

Good news my 50 plus jersey just about fits. On my current weight loss track it should fit in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Just in time for spring cycling.

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.

Gee, I'm just the opposite. Mine is going to fit me a little more loosely than I like this year. As of this morning I've lost 41 pounds. Four more to go.

After losing all of this weight, the hills around here haven't gotten any steeper, do you suppose I'll have to re-gear all of my bikes?

While I am not losing as much weight as you, I am still losing none-the-less. I am finding that I am also getting more fit as I go along. That being said, I did take my mountain bike in this winter and had them put on a more aggressive cassette than I had before. Now if spring would just get here so I could test it out.

Interesting. I rebuilt my mountain bike this winter. It's been over 5 years since I've ridden it. I have a couple of ideas where I might try it out again but my days of riding anything very technical are long behind me.

My 50+ jersey is actually fitting me as opposed to looking like a sausage casing when I first got one. I am now down to 195, from 278, over the period of 21 July 12 through today. All of my kit actually is comfortable fitting, I am hoping to keep up the nutrition sensibility and increase my mileage a bit more.

Wow. All this talk. Here I am trying to talk myself into going out on a gray day to do intervals. Not because i want to, but because I started a program when school started and I need to be ready for the Solvang Double.
Instead I'm checking 50+....

I shall now suit up and go ride. This thread has either inspired or guilted me into action.

Often good advice, but I have a goal. Goals are fun. And motivating.
So I did indeed go out and do my 3x9.

Now if anyone was watching my glacial pace they would assume I was just out for a ride.
But my heart and lungs know I was working as hard as my tired old non-athletic body could.

So maybe I did both.

As long as you were on a ride it is all good. Winds came up last night after yet another front passed over. Made for an interval workout every time I headed north. Took it as a sign from the bicycling gods that I needed to push a bit today so I went with it no matter.
