My iDXA Report

See below. This was not covered by my insurance but it was only $51.00. This is the first time I've had this and the medical center just got the machine a few months ago. I thought those of you who never had one of these might find it interesting what sort of information they give you.

As for me my interpretation is that I need to lose about 20 lbs. of fat, and about two pounds of that off my android. On the other hand I just went from 200 lbs in October to 162 lbs at the moment and figured I was pretty much done with losing weight ... would it really be a good idea to get down into the 140s which I don't think I've seen since Junior High-school?

Do you lift weights? You may want to consider adding weight training to you routine. It may add to your lean muscle tissue %.
5'8" and 162 doesn't sound that bad and your going in the right direction.

I do strength training three times a week on a home machine. I'm actually 5'10.5" - so I really thought 162 was pretty good. But the iDXA doesn't make things up ... I don't feel any lack of muscle, sure it might be nice to have some more, but I can knock off a 100 miles and my arms don't get tired and I can sprint pretty good when I feel like it. Anyway, I'll keep on the losing weight plan and get another iDXA once I lose another 10 lbs. If the lean mass is still there, I won't worry about the weight loss.

Wow, that's very cool. I hadn't heard of it before. I do a BodPod bodyfat test a couple times a year to make sure my weight loss is going the right direction, but this iDXA report is much more detailed. Thanks for sharing, and congratulations on the weight loss.
