Biking at Biltmore

My wife and I celebrated our 20th with a long weekend in Asheville. We stayed at the Inn at Biltmore (highly recommended) which allowed us to ride the grounds.

We also participated in an organized ride with the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club, and met some great riders. Thanks to Claudia and the folks at Liberty Bicycles for their hospitality!

I've been to the Biltmore twice. The first time was for a BMW motorcycle rally they had on the grounds and the last time was about three years ago with friends. It really is an amazing place isn't it? I would love to ride my bike there. Never occurred to me that you could do that until you posted this. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. My wife and I went to Asheville on our honeymoon in 2002 and toured the Biltmore. Maybe we'll go back on an anniversary and ride.

I've been there, but never cycled the grounds. It's a beautiful spot, the Vanderbilts knew how to live.

My wife and I were there a few years go and rode around the grounds. It's an amazing place. What was better was the ride we took on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very nice.
