Hello and Bye all

I have very much enjoyed the contacts here on the forum. In particular, I value the kindness of you who contacted and offered support when I had a bad accident and when the political upsets where I used to live were very threatening.

Now, I'm in a more benign place, and starting a new life. It no longer feels appropriate to inhabit the previous persona. That was a Middle Eastern chap, and I am no longer he.

I'll crop up again. 'He no longer being born....' and so forth.

Ride safely

Richard

I have greatly enjoyed reading your exploits and recovery from misfortunes over the many years. Be well and be here.

Knowing how that Bob Dylan line ends and even knowing it's a sterling truth, I still resist its inevitability.

Thanks for all your contributions and I hope you're in a good place, in all senses of the term.

Brighton would be considered a nice place. In fact the whole of southern England ain't too shabby.

The mods will allow it if you communicate your rationale to them.

There was once a crazy ass poster called the Weak Link. An inveterate snark, troll and ne'er-do-well, rumor has it he was chloroformed and dragged off to an underground chamber where he underwent ECT and reprogramming.

His account was voluntarily banned and he returned a kinder, gentler poster, assiduously avoiding the petty squabbles that had characterized his early career.

If I ever figure out exactly who he is now, I'll kick his ass. I never really liked the guy.

So, talk to CBad, take a break, and return incognito. No one will suspect a thing.
