After working around MDs for 20+ years, I agree with Gerryattrick.

POI, the Allopurinol is not for gout, but to lower acidity of kidney output - hopefully to minimize calcium oxalate kidney stones.

The docs have been working with me, and have reduced dosage on many meds - just not willing to go cold turkey yet. Heck, they have even eliminated a few.

Hopefully, nice weather will soon be here, and more exercise will help stop my whining...........
