Maybe need to lengthen one leg!

I ride with SPD pedals and would like to "grow" my ride leg a bit. Spd's do not appear to be shim friendly so I was wondering about an isert in my shoe?
Thanks!

Bikes: (2) ti TiCycles, 2007 w/ triple and 2011 fixed, 1979 Peter Mooney, ~1983 Trek 420 now fixed and ~1973 Raleigh Carlton Competition gravel grinder

How much? I have a right leg 1/2" shorter than the left. I use 1/2" lifts in the heels of all my shoes that do not have custom insoles. Under my cleats I put a 1/4" alumimum plate bent top match the sole than drilled for the cleats. A bit of work but they ride just fine.

One of my legs is slightly longer than the other. Adjusting the cleat so that foot is a little further forward seems to do the job. Similarly for the bike with Power Grips, the strap loop is one notch looser so that shoe can come forward a little.
