Changing wheel size

Hi, I have a Vilano Blackjack 2.0 29er Mountain Bike MTB with 29-Inch Wheels that I got from an auction. Is is possible to change the wheel from the 29" it has to 26"? If so, are there any cons or pros to this?
I want to attach a rear hub motor but most of them are for 26" wheels. Any suggestion?
