FSA MEGA EXO Replacement

I am a proud owner of a 2018 All City Gorilla Monsoon. I have put just over 1k miles on it, and am noticing it is time to replace the bottom bracket. It is currently equipped with a FSA 24mm Mega Exo Bottom Bracket. I am leaning towards a Chris King, but am I don't know which one to get. My Gorilla Monsoon is mostly used as a touring bike with a 1x12 mountain bike SRAM groupset and Salsa dropbars. I take the bike on roads and dirt, often 100 miles at a time. I am not exclusive to Chris King, but I don't know of a better brand. Can someone please help me find the perfect Bottom Bracket?
I currently have the FSA BB7100, but want better.

What is it that indicates to you that the bottom bracket is in need of replacement? I got over 8,000 miles out of a press-fit PF30 (no renowned for their longevity,) and replaced it because it was creaking, not because the bearings were bad.

When I spin the Bottom Bracket, I can feel grinding inside. It doesn't move very well, and the grinding is pretty bad. I guess I could give it a little effort and try to clean it out a bit, but the fact it has so few miles on it and is as bad as it is leads me to want to replace it.
