Frame for tricks
Hello Riders,
I've tried searching the thread but couldn't find one. I'm looking for a good Fixed Gear frame for tricks. Been wondering what frame those people in MASH, Macaframa and etc are using...
I really appreciate you input.. thanks.
Cheers!

Brooklyn Machine Works makes a frame called the Gangsta that is supposedly alright for doing tricks on.
Just because it was used in a video doesn't mean it's a good idea though. I've seen at least one dude in those videos doing tricks on a Pista Concept which is pretty ragingly stupid, but that didn't seem to stop him.

if you're gonna do tricks get the scrambler, I hear you can do barspins on 700c wheels although the frame itself is ugly as sin but its cheap as dirt!

madison is a great riding bike. fork looks the same as the barenuckle (a great trick frame, can take a serious beating). don't know about barspins, friend has drops and rides it mostly distance (used to do 40+ miles a day). maddy is a bit heavy, but under the paint is a chrome frame, which can look pretty sweet if made correctly.
girlfriend rides a Peugeot "success" conversion and it has a tight geometry. will barspin a 700c with an 18mm tire on the front. (56 cm size). currently has a 25mm tire on the front and if you throw the bars hard enough you can get them around, with lower pressure in the front tire (75psi). have to deflate the rear tire to take it off, less than 5mm rear tire clearance with a 42x15 ratio. 42x17 wouldn't work at all without a halflink. there are some good conversions out there for not too much money, she lucked out on this frame.

it's not the bike, it's the rider.
If the rider is good at tricks you can do tricks on any type of track/fixed gear frame
People in mash/macaframa trick on concepts, cdale tracks, samson njs, bareknuckles etc.

tons of people use steamrollers as their 'trick bike'. just throw a new fork on and go to town. prolly rode a steamroller before he got a bmw.
