This seems unnecessary since most bikes roll well on their own wheels when folded.

Not in my experience. Often brakes bind and spokes dont have enough clearance. I think 2 wheels are all you really need on the rack if there is sometype of pull handle and the bike stands ok.

I got this wide strap, on the few occasions where I walk with mine folded I sling it over my shoulder and It rides like a shoulder bag, down by my hip..
The strap folds up small in my rack bag,, no extra bulk or weight on the bike ...

landing gear will ONLY fit Dahon bikes which have a plate brazed on the bottom bracket with two threaded holes in it...
ths are usually 2016 bikes ....
the part I not available ad will take some time.
right now IF I wuld be able to offer it ..than 90 % of orders would be shipped back, despite all warnings from me ... and people would get mad

The problem with rolling folded Dahons is that the design strategy was to keep the bike folded (magnets). That’s the wrong strategy in my opinion. A better strategy is to find a way to keep it from unfolding. I know that doesn’t sound like much of a difference, but it is. When rolled over anything but the smoothest surfaces in a straight line, the magnets are simply not strong enough to counteract the bike’s tendency to want to unfold. I’ve had much better success by attaching a hook on one fork and a ring on the opposite one, just above where the magnets are (I used elastic hair bands, cut and tied to attach them) and latching them together. Result: I can fold the bike with handlebar remaining up to use as a handle and roll it with total confidence that it will stay folded - world of difference. I’ve since made it even easier by installing a superb Pletscher double kickstand (thank you thorusa.com). Now I leave the seat post up instead of the handlebar and use a rubberized wire tie (search for “gear ties”) wrapped around main tube and rear fork just behind seat post - even more convenient - no bending - and using the seat post as a handle makes the whole package much narrower. I can easily rest the bike down on the double kickstand (if you were to leave the seat post up but don’t have a double kickstand, the bike would rest on its front crank when set down - ouch!)
[EDIT: Just want to add - there is no reason to try to obtain a tight closure, which is what the magnets are supposed to do. In fact, the bike rolls better with a little space and flexibility between the wheels, which you can achieve with the methods I've described (attach the hook and ring with just enough elastic to allow the wheels to separate a little, or wrap the gear tie around the frame relatively loosely if using second method.]

I never liked the magnets either. They come unlocked, but need quite a lot of force to undo. I found it dangerous to my knuckles on a couple of occasions. Glade to see the snap together latch being employed on jifos as they are a boom on my mezzos.

wow its that bad eh? i haven't seen any review on them.
but back to the original poster, if you have the new Dahons (which you do from your other posts!) I think the landing gear would be a better solution because it's small and more out of the way. Also that mo rack is like $255 SGD! while the landing gear i saw it go for $35 AUS on a website. I just find all those wheels on top and having to pull it down feels clunky vs the clean tiny landing gear that you just flick and go.
https://www.pushys.com.au/dahon-landing-gear.html
If you owned a Tern I would also choose the trolley rack first. Thor sells them bloody cheap! https://www.thorusa.com/accessories/racks.htm, plus it has no moving parts and a integrating cover system is quite a nice setup there.
In the end I find the mo rack would be marketed to more of the other 20 inch folding bike brands since Dahon and Tern has some pretty dang good solutions of their own.
