And if you wear a yellow reflective vest, it is still possible that a car that crosses your path behind you, touches the rear end of your luggage, because the car driver does not expect that your lugggage is that long. And he/she has to divide his attention to many other vehicles, may be distracted by his smartphone, stress, navigation, bad weather, bad temper, headache, fatigue, alcohol, drugs or whatever. So this car may come from your right or left at a crossing.

Did anybody try this system on a Brompton? I am looking at it as an option for rear luggage to easily be mounted on different forlders. I would like to know if that red lock-thingy is sticking out too much for the Brompton to roll on the easywheels when folded with this thing atatched:

might need larger than the factory EZ wheel , to not scrape the KF piece on the pavement when rear folded under..
Measuring dimensions - in person - would resolve that..
OTOH, fitting a seatpost beam rack leaves the rear fold unimpeded, and the bag on the beam rack can stay in place..

If it holds enough cargo, check trunk bags such as this 12 liter Trunk-Bag RC from Ortlieb:

I doubt you could roll the Brompton folded with that thing on the rack.

I have been thinking of using this system for several folders. It is possible to buy several different bags or baskets to atatch on the rear rack and you can atatch an adapter to stuff you already own to click it on. You can also hang side panniers from the thingy I linked to together with the rack top bag. Not so useful with the Brompton but could be used with other bikes.
Rixen & Kaul, KLICKfix Adaptersysteme Fahrradzubehör, Solingen, Taschen, Körbe, Werkzeug
I never leave the B out of sight so I am thinking of maybe removing the lock and grinding down the red button for the B.

I wanted to link directly to the system but you need to find it and click on it in the menu to the left on the clickfix page.
