New Dahon Folding Bikes
I see that Dahon is introducing a new range of folding bikes today in Taipei. Some of them look amazing like the Dahon Mu LT11, Dahon Clinch D20, Dahon Jet D9 and Dahon Dash D20. Which one is your favorite and do you have any idea when we can buy them in the US?

They won't be available in North America so you poor souls will have to just sit on the sidelines and live vicariously through us here in Asia-Pacific.

I can import, so no tears here. Besides, to most of us these bikes are old news.

LET'S ROLL
Expensive is relative. Check prices on Bromptons, Birdy, etc.

We always hear about upcoming bikes from Dahon, Tern, etc, through the rumor mill. Nice bikes, but not something I'll go crazy for. The clinch was something I was interested in about a year or so ago. After Dahon put up the asking price, interest from me went from 100 to 0.

Still waiting for a Brompton killer from some competitor, and a $€1,500-2,000 Clinch.

The offerings are not really new bike models.
However, the linked article does point to a Clinch with cheaper components, which is better IMO.
I passed on the previous version as it was way too expensive with the pricey components it had and I was not looking for a mini velo to race road bikes with.

No more than $1,500 and I'd definitely consider a clinch.

Still haven't fixed the gearing on the EEZZ D3. Curl still MIA. edit: I see on the other thread that the Curl did make an appearance.
Jetsteam renamed Jet: not new.
VISC with 16" wheels: new.

Hello -- Do you (or anyone) have any idea where in the USA or online, I can purchase a Dahon Dash or other model with the Lockjaw folding device? I would be interested in the D8 or D18 or other models for basic commuting. I am in Chicago, IL -- it's pretty flat . Any help will be much appreciated.

somepin' like dis?
With Ortlieb Classic6 bag in the back and Tern Kanga Rack and Ortlieb Velocity backpack in the front. 32L volume capacity combined.
While not exactly rare, they are not exactly common either on this side of the pond. I am very fond of mine, and would look to replace it (in the used market or in Malaysia) were I ever to lose it. The Dash is my core bike. If you don't need a fast or small fold, a top choice imbo.
