Pingis,
I would recommend you contact littlepixel to design your logo. He did a great job for me. Thanks Yan |
3 or 4 are a draft start... your designer can tweak from there. Agree re the LLC comments - there is no need to put your full corporate name in a logo. As long as you include your "trading as" name with your state LLC papers (it is an easy peasy form), your LLC name doesn't matter.
Drop "company" too. It adds nothing. Shorter is better - and Origami Bicycle is the most you can reasonably expect people to remember. It's a good name... |

But why the hexagon, Pinigis? Hexagon-shaped bicycle wheels don't roll very well.

Letter Head or Head badge?

guys. guys, listen. i've had a re-think on this whole logo thing.
now, i know i've said previously that these origami bikes are basically cheap copies of tern or dahon. invariably, someone always steps forward to inform me that the origami bikes aren't copies at all, but are in fact, slightly different. well, it's hard to deny that reality. as a result, i feel my new logo idea is more intellectually honest and conceptually coherent than my previous efforts. i'm sure some of you negativists will claim that my logo is no more than a cheap copy of the tern logo. on the contrary, if you look more closely i'm sure you'll see it's actually slightly different. http://i.imgur.com/hZckkOz.jpg |

Mainly the head badge. Our letterhead will likely be our name in the same font as the head badge.

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=514323 back on topic. frankly, i'm disappointed that you didn't like my logo design. it's conceptually consistent and looks pretty nice, i think. http://image.rakuten.co.jp/digisto/c...o22335_600.jpg http://www.dhresource.com/0x0s/f2-al...suspension.jpg http://g01.a.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1XiNRK...gable-Mini.jpg http://g01.a.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1wk5cK...ldren-Kids.jpg http://g02.a.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1CdRoI...ntain-bike.jpg http://china-lot.ru/www/_video/Gallery/4734-001_b.jpg http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...e/IMG_1397.jpg |

paul. we've had this conversation before. you're now going to tell me how the bike you're holding in that pic is your "design" and differs from the alibaba.com specials shown below because one has a different headset or a different rear shock or different seatpost diameter or rear chainstay angle. then i'm going to tell you that those are distinctions without a difference because they are in fact, the same bike design with minor variations. let's skip it.

point being, you should just own it and go with a logo that reflects the incestuous and cannibalistic nature of the chinese bicycle business of which you are a participant. it would be a refreshing change. http://i.imgur.com/wTxRqtI.jpg possible slogan: "sure, it's a copy. heavier, but cheaper. our bikes fold when you want them to, not suddenly without warning." see where i'm going with this? think about it. again, i'm available this weekend for consultation. |

and.. you replied exactly as predicted. of course, this whole "cricket gambit", is merely an attempt at deflection on your part away from the fact that your "origami gazelle" is a copy of a tern which is in turn a copy of a dahon. all designs of which, according to our resident authority on these matters, ed wong III, come from the communist bureau of central bicycle design located inside a mountain fortress somewhere outside shenzhen.

If you are available for weekend gardening, I may take you up on that. Otherwise the font you suggest is too weird for me.

Despite the smallwheeler derailment, I thank you all for your input.
