I'm trying to locate a Dahon Mu Uno handlepost (or Speed Uno) to put on my Speed P8. The handlepost on my Speed Uno (Duo actually,...) is the perfect length for me, and the 2 bikes pretty much share the same handlepost. There's no flex, and I don't need adjustability. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,...

It's close. The Jetstream post is about 11" total (I own one), the one on my Dahon Speed Duo is about 16", and the one is about 14.5". I'm shooting for 420mm, if I can locate it.

haven't tried buying at aliexpress - you have experience with them? how are they as a seller ?

there's no problems with ali, it's same as ebay, look at seller's rating and feedbacks.

My issue with aliexpress is the ability to select color, and NOT the size I want. It's slightly different with eBay,...but with both the quality is questionable. Especially since I located a 420mm handlepost on eBay. There were a few negative reviews for the handlepost itself,...so the quality is suspect. I highly doubt it will be better on aliexpress.

litepro & fnhon = the same quality as dahon and tern.
when you buy this item you need to leave remark to seller which color and size you need.

Dahon normally doesn't sell parts (to consumers), distributors may have some but not many. That's why Dahon copies (Litepro, Fnhon) are so popular in China. Aliexpress (for people outside China ) or Taobao (more for people in China) are basically where you can buy these parts. As for the quality, I have used some Fnhon and Litepro as well as Dahon, there is no noticeable difference. These copiers even make improvements here or there. And these are bike parts not rocket parts, it's actually very had to make a bad copy

I'd have no problems with a fnhon or litepro replacement stem, none at all. I have a problem with the fact I can't find one of either brand that will ship to the USA.

working on it ... got a lot of litepro parts in stock and the handleposts are next to order. I probably start with upper T section different lengths and all in black ... they make like 20 different ones in silver and black and I need to keep an eye on inventory ... Until I have them its probably august though

Maybe someone in a country that has them would be willing to ship it to you. You could purchase it and send it to their address and they can mail it to you. You can PayPal the shipping cost to them. I'd do it for someone if it were a small part. They wouldn't even have to pack it. Just mail it.

Mu Uno handlepost is a tad to long, imho. Also, if you have a rear brake lever, you might get conflict when folding.
I bought a FNHON 31,5cm handlepost for my Mu and it is great regarding fold, quality and stiffness. Also significantly lighter.

I'd gladly pay someone on the forums (via PayPal ) to purchase & ship the appropriate handlepost to me.

I want the longer length so I can ride in an upright position, as I tend to get neck and shoulder pain when I ride in a more aggressive position. As for weight, I don't mind if it's heavy. It's solid, and I'm more than willing to deal with it.

The fold will conflict with your right brake lever. Better go with some cm shorter.
