inexpensive bike (folding) trailer
I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive bike trailer for a Dahon 20" wheel bike (probably the Vitesse 8 speed). Lightweight and folding for travel. I am not happy with any of the suitcase to trailer options I"ve found for this bike (cost to quality to size above standard check in) and am exploring a way to use my own suitcase with a trailer to transport it off the airplane with personal gear inside. I would also want to use the trailer for car based camping trips. Cost is a factor. Ease of use. WEIGHT since I"ll be flying with it. This is on the right track (Aosom Single Wheel Foldable Bicycle Cargo Trailer, Red

This suitcase
Delsey Helium Quantum 29" Expandable Trolley | Luggage Pros
can be transported on the Pletscher rack on my Vitesse D3 with two bungee cords, which - for me - makes a trailer unnecessary. $82 at Ebags.

Burly has 2 cargo trailers with 2 wheels Flat bed and Nomad .
https://burley.com/product-category/cargo-and-pets/
Flat bed comes apart , tongue, wheels (16") and side rails to make it into a flat Pack ..
takes a Backpack Or duffle bag, in it to put your stuff into , Nomad you just fill the covered space..

Wesgreen! My new hero! I spent hours trying to find a 62" non spinner suitcase that could potentially allow me to fly with the Dahon I'm considering buying. Didn't spot this one! Perfect! Have you packed your Vitesse in this suitcase? (I'm interested in either the Vitesse 3 or 7 speed). If so, how much did you have to disassemble the bike? Is the Pletscher rack you mention the rack that comes standard on that bike or an aftermarket purchase? THANK YOU for taking the time and giving me a great lead!

There was a post a while ago about Origami trailers.

And I've seen them show up on E-Bay.
