This bike has popped up for sale near me. I´ve been thinking about a small-wheel folder for a while, and this seems to fit the bill.

My knowledge of the Dahon range is pretty much zero, so if anyone has any experience of this model or a similar Dahon and would like to share, I would very much appreciate it!

Looks like a double chainwheel+front derailleur derivative of Dahon's long running and popular Speed model. Not an especially light model and modestly priced, but a good solid machine.

Has perhaps the current owner fitted non-folding pedals?

Double front chainring (a nice bonus), cromoly frame (stronger than aluminum), the pedals definitely don't fold (easily remedied), but still a nice looking ride. What's the asking price?

It looks like the wheels are a step up from the basic Speed P8 which is a highly rated and very popular model. It looks like many used bikes that have spent several years in a garage unused----ready for a new home. I would say a great price 150 good price 250.

Looks like a VERY nice bike to me. I would say $350 very good price, $250 great price, $150 gotta be stolen.

When I buy used I want at least 40% off new.

There was an Archer, one ring only though, on CL last summer. The seller was firm on $350 (IIRC) and it was on CL for awhile. Either the seller found a buyer or he/she decided to not to sell as it eventually dropped off. I remember it well because I was stalking CL for a folder at the time. I bought my 2011 D7 for $150 off CL, so the same price for this bike would be an absolute steal.

Sometimes you can get very good deals on bikes that just have to go away. A friend of mine bought two old titanium mountain bikes (all XT) a Dura Ace titanium road bike and another bike from an estate for $1200.

He stripped the mountain bikes and made a ton of money on this purchase.

When the seller has no idea what the bikes are worth great deals can be made....

How is the FD cable routed?

I bought the same model second hand last year, but with a single chainring, 8 spd sram gripshift set up, was a white model. Was £200, solid little bike, have changed the seatpost as it was too heavy (had a pump inside) and new MKS pedals, all in all happy with my first folder

Nice Bike! Archer is a China name version of the Speed and there are often some really nice ones built and sold.

Looks a very decent bike and spec definitely worth buying at the right price. Not much there for comfort though. I'd probably need to change the saddle for a sprung saddle although that might kill its speedy looks. Chromoly frames tend to last longer generally and that design certainly looks solid I think that is another bonus and may make it slightly more comfortable or at least dull the impact of going over potholes a bit more than aluminium. With secondhand you do need to be careful, look for cracks or issues in the frame (unlikely with chromoly) and judge how worn the components are. If they look worn and might need replacing sooner rather than later make sure you factor that into the price.

That's a good one. The chainwheel cover by itself is an idicator. Good crank under neath it. I see a nice derailleur in the back etc.

In the US market the Speed D8 or Mu D9/D10 Bikes are similar as of 2018.

You can't go wrong for having that bike available to ride (or a similar one). More fun than this keyboard I am typing on, that's for sure.
