Internal geared folders

Internally geared reasonably priced folders, is there such an animal out there ? By reasonably priced I mean less than 700 dollars, by the searches I've done I've came up empty but maybe I'm missing something. Thanks for any new leads.

Bikes: Mike Melton custom, Alex Moulton AM, Dahon Curl

You're in the USA and those are American dollars, right?

Hmm.

Off the top of my head, Citizen Gotham, Citizen Alhambra, Jcat, Worksman

Used 3-speed Dahons available in most US markets.

Bikes: Yes.

...Or a standard folder with a new IGH wheel & Surly Singleator. Might get you close. A Dahon SUV D6 is cheap enough a wheel build might not put you over by much.

Edit: An Origami Cobra would definitely do it. Just run full length housing from the shifter to the hub.

Act fast! So far as I know Shimano discontinued the 8 speed coaster brake hub.

It would be useful if the Cobra could accommodate v brakes thus giving thee OP more choices of mechanical hubs.

The Schwinn Loop or Hinge with a rear wheel hub build?

Where are you located? I have a 3 speed Dahon Speed Uno I converted to 3 speed w/coaster brake, and a once ridden Dahon Mariner i7 7 speed that I'm selling.
