Now for something completely different: Dahon folding cargo e-trike

Dahon unveiled a new folding e-cargo trike:

Mid-motor, big battery, five-speed hub. 24" front wheels & 20" rear. Take it up an elevator. Probably not cheap.

Kinda of big. I use a burley travoy with my recumbent tadpole and both the trike and the travoy trailer fold up. i can definitely fit them both in an elevator.

Bikes: Tern Link D8, much upgraded

Completely unnecessary for my life, but so are the pick-up trucks 90% of people drive around town. As a bonus it would also mean that I can legitimately ignore the mandatory helmet rule here (it only applies to bicycles), but then again I can save my pennies and still stick it to the man by buying a unicycle instead. Still tempted though…

Would be kinda cool if it folded up inside the cargo box, which had drop down transport wheels. Maybe one side of the box could be hinged. put a lid on for perfect storage, lol. Or an instant seat/table. ooh...a trike that folds up and goes in your apartment and becomes your coffee table, lol.

That looks pretty awesome. Great for short, local deliveries.
