Bit of fun.

So I've got an '04 Brommie that I'm rebuilding at the shop. Went to pull the grub screws out to install the carrier block, and it turns out they're plastic. My little screwdriver(that I've never actually used on a screw, just as a scraper and pry tool) didn't fit. Swiss Army to the rescue.

For comparison is a modern steel one. Also installing a modern suspension block and post QR so the bike stays unfolded, and modern brake levers so the cust can find replacement cables. Surprisingly, the old Sachs Torpedo was properly adjusted.

Love it. I'm kind of a multi-tool addict and I keep at least a Classic on me all the time. It's amazing how much more utility it has with a couple basic tools, still in a tiny package.

<tangent> I've taken to carrying a small Moleskine notebook around to help me remember things, but now I've overflowed my pants pockets and may also have to start carrying a murse. I mean.... "EDC bag."

That will give me room to carry a more substantial multi-tool, like a needlenose plier based one that could be used to open quick links on bike chains...</tangent>

I've had a SAK on my keychain for as long as I've been an adult. So useful to have around. Have also been carrying a Photon mini-light,it's so much quicker to use than trying to play with the flashlight setting on my phone, and I can hold it in my teeth if I need to.
