They seem to be attractive to collectors, in my part of the world. I'm not a collector of them, they're a bit before my time. I like their lines.
If I saw one being dumped for cheap, I might pick one up, but I'm not going to pay the $200+ I see them going for on ebay or FBMP. They're heavy and with "vintage" brakes, which is scary.
I really don't see the point of the non-folding ones, but I gather that they're doubly collectible.
