dyno - this is the bike that i was supposed to buy for $250 that the owner confirmed but she suddenly sold it to someone without even telling me. i had the first shot at it and we already agreed that i will get it the day after i talked to her.

Looks like the seller got so many inquiries she realized she was selling short & decided to re-list or this one can be a scam using old pictures. Won't know unless you call on it....

ratdog. the person who bought it from the lady for $250 is now selling it for $400. the previous seller told me that she sold it to her neighbor and looking at the listing, the new owner lives in the same area as the previous seller. i guess some people are just out there trying to make a buck out of others and not really into riding bikes or folding bikes and yet here we are who's really into it and missing a great deal.

Notice that the ad doesnt mention it is an MU P8.

Well you can always screw the neighbor and asked the original seller if she just re-listed the same bike for $400. I bet she'll be a bit pissed that her neighbor is making a quick $150 off her instead of using the bike.

So I don't know ANYTHING about folding bikes, hell two months ago I don't think I could have told you what a derailleur was (since then my knowledge of 'standard' bikes has greatly increased) but I recently saw an ad selling two folding bikes. 40$ each or 70$ for the pair. That seems like quite a good deal to me but I'm guessing I'd have to tear down, clean, and build back up. Anyone have any thoughts on the value of these whips?
