I had a Bike Friday once and can't say anything bad about it. It's a high quality bike that rides almost like a full sized high quality road bike. Make sure you are the right size and weight for this particular one. The Bike Friday company is a fantastic company making fantastic folding bikes and will answer any questions about this particular bike if you call them with the serial number and original owners name..

It's funny how sometimes in the Bay Area people do not realize what they have or the value of it. Too much money and not enough common sense, lol. I often find great deals on things just because people want to get rid of it, get it out of the house/apartment. That said, I always meet up for craigslist sales at my local police department or at the pd closest to the seller or a library, community center, or other very populated location. It might be a used bike shop, with all the bikes in the background on one of the pics.

I'd luv to,...but I just bought a Downtube Mini (8 speed goodness), I'm waiting to have knee surgery to ride again, and I'm strapped for cash because my basement is currently flooded (I won't be able to waterproof it until spring, at the very least). Hopefully this baby will find a good, luving home.

Oh, man, hope that surgery goes well and you recover quickly and the other problem dries up, lol.
