Any Dahon Jake or Matrix Owners?
Looking for info on these two models. Have been tossing around the idea of a folding bike for subway use and travel, but want a full-size model. I had one of those old Fuji Marlboro addition jobs, but it was heavy and a pain to fold. I'm leaning toward the Matrix for the front triple and disc brakes, but don't need the suspension. The Jake looks cool, but I'm not into rim brakes and I can run out 38/11 pretty easily around here.
Anyone here own one or do a test ride? I'm particularly interested in how much they really weigh(website claims about 27 lbs each),how compact they fold,if mounting full fenders is doable, and how much clearance there wold be for wider tires on the Matrix. TIA for any replies.

Dahon Jack?
https://www.dahon.com/forum/ would have [more] owners' comments.
IMO, buy the non-sus version of the frame you like and rebuild it. If you want a sus fork, you buy the one you like. Dahon parts quality on mid-range bikes is .... mid-range.
