Bike Lock
After test riding several brands of bikes, I think that I will probably get a Brompton (S model), as a compact folding size will be quite critical as a second bike.
In my daily use, I will sometimes not be able to carry the bike along with me once reaching my destination. If locking the bike up in a public place, would it best to fold it then lock or lock it unfolded? Also any ideas on the best type of locks to secure bike and/or parts?
Thanks,

May I refer you to last week's thread on this very subject - https://bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=303287
Frankly I'd never leave my folder locked up outside. Means carting round a heavy lock, and defeats the point of having a folding bike. Surely.
