Swift rack

I was looking at the rear rack on my 29er and it struck me that it would be an easy fit to the Swift. The only modification was removal of the lower mounting brackets, which fit the rack to the quick release skewer. These brackets are attached to the legs of the rack with four bolts. The upper arms of the rack mount to the rear brake bosses. The lowers bolted directly to the two threaded holes above the Swift’s drop-outs. Strangely, it fit without any other adjustment, having been removed from the 29er. I think it looks great.
Old Man Mountain makes the rack. It is the Sherpa model.

Fortunately, any rack can fit the Swift. The lower section attaches to the holes in the rear dropouts, and the upper arms are attached at the QR.

OMM's are pretty good though iirc....

I'm wondering if any could stay on and be packed into a 31" Samsonite F'lite, any suggestions for traveling?
