By the way, I like Lil' Pixel's red bike more than this white one... Just my two cents, pesos or pences...
(His red bike seems to be a bit more innovative, not to mention its a Sexy Single Speed...)

Just an update showing the wee B trying the bullhorns off my Twenty for size.
TT bars might be amusing, though I'm thinking flipped north-road bars (aka shallow drops) might be the thing for the B in speed pursuit mode.

It looks really nice LP. Grey, red or even black tape for that final touch and you might win the "Best Looking Brompton I've seen so far" contest.

I cut down and flipped some North Road bars today to make some shallow drops, snipped up a 7 Up-can to make a shim for the brake lever, then wrapped some nice black cork tape on them today. I'm pretty stoked with look and feel of the outcome. Riding position is great - I can get into a really fast and forward sprint position... just about in time for the Smithfield Nocturne then...

As I see it - form should follow function, as long as the function has room for sweet components and plenty of unique character!

It's in the high 8kg/low 9kg ballpark at the moment. I have skinnier rims and tyres on order though and really need to do something about those half/half SPD pedals as they are crap. The SPD side always bobs to the top so it's pretty much pointless trying to ride them with normal shoes on. Which is the point of the two sided pedal (Doh!).

I have the same pedals and I manage to keep the SPD side down with a little "tip-of-the-shoe-trick" but honestly, I am considering something lighter and more unique to amplify the Q factor of my Brompton.

I can't decide whether to go for Eggbeaters or KHS removables. Eggbeaters allow for silly-expensive Titanium options but still stick out; KHS sound quite good too; but both mean new cleat systems meaning needing nu shooz and no flexibility of shoes with other bikes. Ah - a conundrum!

Even though I ride for speed and enjoy having clipless pedals on my Brompton, while riding in traffic in Rio as well as socially around (using my B. to go to the movies, etc) I do enjoy having a flat surface, so egg beaters is a no-no for me.

Ideally, a Ti Campus pedal that folds would be a gift from the gods.

Doesn't Brompton make a Ti folding pedal?

LP, that is really one sweet bike! I really like the mods that you have done to your bike. That stem assembly is simply a stroke of genius. I like that chopped North Road bar too, I bet it gives you a lot of hand positions. I do have a Moustache and AllRounder bar which are similar to the North Road - man if only I have an S-stem assembly instead of the M-type.

As for pedals, I have eggbeaters on my other bikes and I really like them. I have Candy pedals on my singlespeed and I can use ordinary shoes on them comnfortably. If only they made detachable pedals like the MKS EZY line!

One of my friends machined eggbeater axle so it can be used with MKS EZY adaptor.
BTW MKS makes a detachable SPD pedal named EZY-cube or something.

Snap! I've had this idea for about a year now! Just the pedal I have in mind (Eggbeater SL) is too thin on the pedal side of the mounting flange; which one did your friend start with?

Here you go Jur, in case you don't see the other photos posted. I cannot see them as well.

That is a sweet conversion. I wish I can get one, all of my bikes have eggbeaters on them, except for my two folders.

EDIT: Wow that is strange. Now I see both Doco's and InvisibleHand's photos.
