Get a Swift. It's extremely versatile due to having a derailer hanger PLUS track ends, plus it's one of the lighter folders, plus the ride quality is probably the best or close to it. James Swift is just one of the many Swift owners who rides it fixed. You should also be able to find some on fixed gear gallery.

well there are no frames available from Dahon. I tried very hard and keep on trying for 08 ....
However buying a complet bike might not be such a bad idea after all .. the 07 models are selling for under 600 dlr and even if you want to customize quite a bit, you will find that you can " kee" quite a few of items... which would translate into big savings
( only 18 and 20 inch frame sizes available )

well thats a tuff question to answer, when the new ones are not here and the 07 ones are available for instant sale ....
I think yes............ there is an improvement .... albeit a small one as the 07 frame was great to start with. The 08 will be more expensive ( sug retail for the 16 speed is 699 ) ... for the more money it might just be a wash ....
Than there is the 8 speed internal Cadenza with the alfine group and dsik brakes where the sug retail is 939 ... That bike is a BARGAIN as the components are expensive ... other bike companies start selling bikes equipped with alfine in the 2000 dlr range .... !!!
